I Am As I Am
Hey there! It’s great to have you here. You probably know by now that my name is Tanner, so let me share a little more about myself with you. My childhood in Louisiana was spent with a single mother who worked as a nurse and with six siblings. You can probably tell just by that, but I moved around a lot as a kid, especially within the school system.
I spent a lot of time with my grandparents while my mom was working, especially my grandfather who was a veteran, a family man, and a very talented creative. He played a huge role in fostering my love for the arts. I still remember when I was six or seven, he taught me how to draw characters from the cartoons that I was watching at the time like Dexter’s Laboratory.
Even though I have grown up a lot since then, my love for the arts hasn’t diminished at all. I have taken to things like writing, photography, videography, music, drawing, painting, and so much more. I am really excited to share my passions with you more as we get to work together more closely.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk!
